This is slightly pricey flat iron but still a rather nice product! The digital touch screen controls are nice addition when compared to other flat iron products on the market. This one heats up pretty fast and straightens the hair rather nicely. My Daughter gave it a try with wet hair (After she had quickly dried it partially using a towel) and given me a full thumbs-up approval. She was very much satisfied with the product as it is much lighter when compared with the old Remington S7230 flat iron she has. I must admit she has beautiful hair and she tends to keep her hair neat and clean. This product helped her keeping her hair straight shinny and silky without having to endure too much pain lugging a heavy weight flat iron.
As I mentioned the likable features are the controls which are all touch activated. After plugging it in to A/C a small blue LED lights up, That becomes your ON/OFF switch. You then hold the "ON/OFF" light for a few seconds and the unit comes to life and a blue backlit LCD display comes up indicating a rather convenient large temperature gauge and also at the same time "+" "-" symbols appear on the screen. These allows you to set the temperature anywhere for about 200-410°. The instruction manual it tells you what temperature is ideal for what type of hair. Once you ascertain the desired temperature you can then push the physical lock button on the side and that locks the desired temperature for the session.
What she liked about the product was how incredibly fast it heats up and in matter of seconds and maintains the desired temperature for a long time. The tourmaline coated ceramic plates while slightly smaller than her previous flat iron but still adequate enough to make the hair shiny and straight. Also the cord has pivoted contacts that makes the using of this product a breeze minimizing the tangling of the AC cord
Thankfully, The product quality seems very good for the rather high asking price and packaging is superb which even allows you to feel the no-slip grip handle even without opening the box.. The product delivers rather good results, well built and daughter approved.
