One would think that finding a replacement Decorative Globe Light Bulbs would be easy right? NO! - In my case it has been quite a challenge! Here is why... Firstly the bathroom fixture in my house uses 'candelabra E12' Base. OK not a big deal as you do have various candelabra base bulbs available . But, secondly (Most importantly) the globe Light bulbs needs to be very small to fit properly inside that bathroom light fixture.. That's the real issue I was facing.
When the original Decorative Globe Light Bulbs (40W regular incandescent bulbs) burnt out I did some minor modifications to the light fixture so that it can take a Micro-mini CFL so that I can cut on the energy costs and at that time (about 10 years ago) the only company who offered those small size CFLs were Sylvania 26941 - CF13EL/MICRO/827/C/BL/2PK Twist Candelabra Screw Base Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb
Granted those CFLs did their job in cutting the energy costs down but they kept on burning out every year or so and I got tired of buying them again and again. I was searching high and low for more reliable LED replacement for the light fixture and I am pleased to say that finally after several weeks of searching I finally found the perfect replacement Decorative Globe Light Bulbs for the Bathroom Light fixture.
So how does this Triangle Bulbs 5-watt LED Light Bulb E12 Base stack up with Sylvania 26941 - CF13EL/MICRO-MINI Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb ?? - See for yourself. I have added some pictures to prove that they are perfect both in terms of replacement dimensions and the light color is the pleasant warm white in color I like and it consumes even less power than the previous CFLs that it replaced. For me this is win-win situation.
If you are in my situation you will find these Decorative Globe Light Bulbs are perfect in all respects. They put out nice bright warm white light and do not get hot..Also the construction quality of the bulbs are great and should last a decade.
