I am pleasantly surprised by the functionality and quality of the product. This is the second time I have owned any Amope product. You will probably will not find much information about this company on the internet as they are relatively new to the market but off lately I do see this company advertising on TV and other internet sites. Their products are good quality no doubt in that.
Having said, Earlier I had used and reviewed Amopé Pedi Perfect Electronic Pedicure Foot File which is lot cheaper to own which by the way uses standard 'AA' batteries QTY 4 I find that product equally capable in removing callus but this new model comes with built-in rechargeable batteries and USB based charging station & power adapter (5v 500mAh) for the added convenience you will have to pay about $15 dollars more which in my opinion is perfectly reasonable.
Having said, the product quality is very good. It does not feel cheaply built and has a nice solid grip. It works perfectly and removes callus from foot effortlessly. The rotating roller head also seems to be user replaceable and there are various replacement available now for purchase. I do not see any immediate need for Refillable roller as the included roller head should easily last for few years.
My wife used this on her foot (She gets callus in summer) as she tends to wear slippers rather than closed shoes or boots and she was very happy with the results. You should be aware not to use the abrasive action too much in one session as it can shave out considerable amount of dead skin in matter of seconds. Try to use the callus area gently and use no more than 10-15 seconds and you are done! your feet will look shiny and well buffed skin.
